Homework Statement
A charge of +2q is placed at the origin and a second charge of -q is placed a x = 3cm. Where can a third charge +Q be placed so that it experiences a zero force?
Homework Equations
F=kQ1Q2/r^2
The Attempt at a Solution

Homework Statement
A 25-kg box slides, from rest, down a 9.0-m-long incline that makes an angle of
15° with the horizontal. The speed of the box when it reaches the bottom of the
incline is 2.4 m/s. (a) What is the coefficient of kinetic friction between the box
and the surface of the...
OK I can see the error being at 1% for both minutes and hours. So converting 120.0min +0.1min using the 0.0167 hrs/min conversion coefficient will give me 2.000 hours +0.002hrs.
I was doing velocity by rise/run from two points (does it matter which two I choose since it won't be the actual...
Thanks for the reply Delphi51.
The only errors given in the question are with the minutes (+0.1 min) and with the distance (+0.1 km). The question asks to convert minutes to hours and then graph distance over time.
I then use the km/h to calculate average velocity and best fit line...
This is an issue I am running into at the beginning of my physics course.
Homework Statement
Given distance and time in minutes, calculate the time in hours (part of a larger average velocity question) and graph over 170minutes. Include error bars in the graph
