    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

Your right I have to apply it for magnetic and electric component. The transformation I want to apply is like in this paper but to a magnetic field: https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/0811/0811.0458.pdf

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

Pendry and his team made the first metamaterial yes. I don't want to make it invisible. I never found a paper online about what I'm trying to do. Because the transformations can be apply to all maxwell equations I want to apply it to an alternating magnetic field only.

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

Ok It works in theory but due to loss in nano wire split ring resonator don't work in optical frequency. The size of split ring must be less than 1/10 for the wavelength to work. (70 nm for optic)

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

It doesn't work at optical frequency they use those terms to help people understand the principle.

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

This is an exemple of optical transformation : https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/0905/0905.1484.pdf I want to modify only the magnetic componant (permeability) sorry I wrote it to quickly on the last post. The magnetic field will induce an electric current in an array of split ring...

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

What I want to do is putting an electric AC current in the electromagnet so it can generate an AC magnetic field. I don't want to create an electromagnetic waves. I want to concentrate the magnetic field by folding the normal space in a mathematically equivalent space of smaller size using...

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

yes it's use to give a specific permeability for a given wavelength of the magnetic field in my project. (i'm a physics student)

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

I want to control a magnetic field with metamaterial design by PCB. That's why I need that order of wavelength. What magnetic field strength can I expect?

    Electrical UHF/SHF Electromagnet Homework Solution

Homework Statement I am making a prototype and I need an electromagnet with a wavelength of the order of centimeters. The magnetic field can be 10 mT or more. The Attempt at a Solution Microwave have magnetron in it, but they don't specify the magnetic field since it's not the purpose of the...

Undergrad Detecting Gravitational Waves & Alcubierre Drive

I saw a conference from a Ligo physicist she said they are detecting gravitation wave of collapsing star. I also read the Doppler effect is working on gravity due to limited speed (c). I want to know if it is possible to detect a big mass traveling close to the speed of light in ours frame of...

Undergrad About satellite launching and satellites in orbits

I just find a good example geostationary orbit occur when the satellite speed equal Earth rotation it is at 36 000 km everything below that need more horizontal speed.

Undergrad About satellite launching and satellites in orbits

    Orbital speed From wikipedia the Earth radius is 6371.0 Km it take 24h for one turn: 463m/s depending on your altitute there is different Obital speed but it is multiple time the Earth rotation. V=\sqrt{\frac{GM}{r}}

Graduate Can Metamaterials Be Used to Reduce Shockwaves in Supersonic Flight?

Lets start with that: http://people.ee.duke.edu/~cummer/reprints/131_Popa11_PRL_AcousticCloak.pdf \rho = det(A)*(A-1)T*A-1*\rho0 B = det(A)*B0 where B: bulk modulus \rho: Density A: Jacobian matrix Lets make it simple: cartesian to polar 2D Jacobian = cosθ -r*sinθ sinθ...
