Vietnam era veteran. Served in military 1970 to 1975, starting in Fort Dix, NJ. Trained as combat corpsman (medic) and later as medical lab technician at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Took jungle training at Schofield Barrracks, Hawaii, pending possible deployment to Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division. Fortunately, the Vietnam war ended prior to my deployment, so I got out of that mess by a few months.
