Undergrad Torque vs Current of a DC motor
That's fantastic help for me! As for the torque at negligible current, should this have an effect on the linear regression I have applied. Does this mean I should ground the line to the origin still, or shall I remove that grounding?? It makes a big difference to the coefficient of...- Jazz House

Undergrad Torque vs Current of a DC motor
Hello all, I hope you can fill a couple of holes in my understanding. As part of a school assignment I have investigated the relationship between torque and current in a DC motor. I have used linear regression and the linear fit is pretty good. I have done research on the relationship between...- Jazz House

Ok. So now with the correctly defined magnification. M=v/u v~image distance u~object distance Therefore (similar derivation as before) Hi=Hou-1(\frac{1}{f}+\frac{1}{u})-1- Jazz House

Optics - working with multiple lenses.
Thanks! It's great to have a reply. The formula I derived is correct and that is confirmed by my teacher. I just manipulated a couple of formulas with some substitution and the like. Simple algebra. THe problem is that the formula i derived doesn't follow for combinations of lenses. I tried...- Jazz House

Optics - working with multiple lenses.
I did a bit of research on telescopes in my 40-year-old set of encyclopedias. I have learned that the height of an image is equal to the product of the focal length of the telescope and the angle subtended by the object. Does is equation have a name?? Can anyone point me towards a more up to...- Jazz House

Optics - working with multiple lenses.
I have never used this template, but I will do my best. THe main problem involves assumption. My teacher isn't sure how to help with this. I thought that there might be some Optics experts here that could point me in the correct direction. Homework Statement I have been asked to do some...- Jazz House
