That is true, ill take that part back. But they way it is often explained is with an example of 1/3 which isn't realistic and can be confusing at first.- Jeffdef

Thanks for the replies, I understand that the bias of the person doesn't affect the game itself, but it should affect the chance of picking the right door. assuming the choice of the contestant isn't completely random. So i think Monty hall is a bad example for the equation and might be why so...- Jeffdef
