Undergrad Understand Sound Wave Propagation in Space
So if only one collision happens is like when you throw something in water and only one circle is create, here only one pressure change happen? -

Undergrad Understand Sound Wave Propagation in Space
Okay, what about sound, when two object just collide? It is still a wave, but there is only one source(one collision) of sound? -

Undergrad Understand Sound Wave Propagation in Space
Why does sound waves propagate trough space with areas of lower and higher pressure, why does not pressure just equalize without waves? Thanx for answers. -

Undergrad Understanding Resonance: Co-lapsing Bridges, Glasses & More
What about geometry? Would a cube of glass resonate just as a wineglass? And is it possible to calculate resonant frequency(or approximate)?- kapital

Undergrad Understanding Resonance: Co-lapsing Bridges, Glasses & More
Is it possible to calculate(or approximate) the resonance of glass for example? Which information would we need to do so if it is possible? Is resonance connected with geometry of objects? Does a metal(for example copper or iron) in shape of cube also have own frequency and can resonate? In...- kapital

Undergrad Understanding Resonance: Co-lapsing Bridges, Glasses & More
What exactly is resonance? I have bean reading some literature and I do not understand what precisely it is saying. But since that is very unspecific question, I will to ask some question that are puzzling me, to try to show more specific what I do not understand. 1. What exactly can resonate...- kapital

High School Water not flow out of capillary
Ok, but why does than have our finger on the top any influence on that? And why does water not flow out of the pipette, is there the same reason? -

High School Water not flow out of capillary
Why does water, in a small glass tube, open at both sides(for example) not flow out if we put it in vertical position and put our finger on the top?(we close it)? -

Undergrad Failure to understand a basic integral application
But shouldn't be that infinity, since we have an infinity mass points?- kapital

Undergrad Failure to understand a basic integral application
Although something else is weird at this example. Ussualy, that kind of examples give the function of density and not mass. If each point has some nonzero mass on some interval, that the whole mass on the interval should be infinity. Correct me if I am wrong.- kapital

Undergrad Failure to understand a basic integral application
I think first line (f(x1)+f(x2)+...+f(xn) =) is alredy wrong. I think you shoud write it like this: f(x1)*Δx+ f(x2)*Δx+f(x3)*Δx+f(x4)*Δx+...+f(xc)*Δx= Try to calculate using this expresion.- kapital

Undergrad How Do Molecular Forces Influence Material Properties and Binding Energy?
Yes this is interesting. Crystal for example shows the basic way in which that can be done. But how can we now(calculate, messure) the energy of binding? Is it possible to approximated it somehow, just knowing chemical formula of commponent(s)?. And something else what I woud like to...- kapital

Yes, but is it possible to calculate(knowing molecular structure and geometry), how much that force is?- kapital
