Build a Magnet Generator with 42 Gauge Wire
Thanks for the reply. Here's a photo of the bought generator. The wire here is real thin as well. This photo is from online. The one I have seems to have even thinner wire but does well for the power output I need.- Kbement

Build a Magnet Generator with 42 Gauge Wire
Hey everybody, So I've decided to try and make a copper wire magnet generator (real small) for part of my senior design project. If I can get this to work I can potentially reduce my fixture significantly. Anyways, I purchased some real small wind turbine generators off the shelf to play with...- Kbement

Shrinking a water wheel generator coil pack from 1 inch OD
Thanks for the help. I've done research on theory and how to develop at home generators and more complex ones. I've google searched all kinds of things but I just can't find one small enough- Kbement

Shrinking a water wheel generator coil pack from 1 inch OD
I only need about 3W. The generator I have gives me a voltage of roughly 13v with an amperage of about 4. So in theory I should have about 52W of power but it seems to good to be true, especially for its size. Thanks, Kyle- Kbement

Shrinking a water wheel generator coil pack from 1 inch OD
Hey everyone, New to the site and I'm liking what I've come across so far but I'm having some trouble with a project of mine. I'm an ME by trade but this is definitely more of an electrical engineering problem. I need to make a small turbine generator that operates in a water wheel type design...- Kbement
