    It's here that I am getting lost. I have also have \frac{dY}{dX}=v+X\frac{dv}{dX} and set it equal to \frac{v-2}{v+4} but when I separate the variables I get \frac{(v+4)dv}{v^2+3v+2}=\frac{-dX}{X} Which does not integrate into something my textbook has.
