I completed by undergrad and graduate study at WWU and subsequently obtained a job at the school managing the advanced materials science and engineering center (AMSEC). We are a collaborative instrumentation center offering a wide range of services to help the school and community with advanced chemical and physical analyses. We work closely with the chemistry, physics, engineering, environmental science, and geology departments. My areas of instrumentation experience included AFM, optical microscopy, XPS, XRD, DSC, TGA, ICPMS, LA-ICPMS, CV, RRDE, IR and others.
