Measuring Stagnation Pressure with a Manometer
I only have a manometer which gives me a pressure Reading in mmH20. I can connect it the way I desire, but I have to calculate the speed of air in the tunnel. It currently reads the static pressure, but I do not know how to go from there to a determination of the velocity of the air. Maybe if I...- krlss26

Measuring Stagnation Pressure with a Manometer
Hello. We use a manometer to measure the pressure of an air tunnel. The connection of the manometer has to be changed as sometimes water enters the manometer and contaminates the fluid inside. I have attached a picture in which I am showing the now and before of the connection. My question is...- krlss26

Calculating the force air has on an object
I am sorry if I did not explain myself very well. I am not a native English speaker. The air does not come from a storage tank. It comes from a compressor which sends air through some vanes. The air flows along a guide and through that guide, cylinders travel. They are pushed by air that flows...- krlss26

Calculating the force air has on an object
They are actually bottles, that are transpoted from one area to another through guides and propulsed by air. Air flows around the tip of these bottles and it pushes them forward. I need to calculate the force that air, which comes horizontally and pushes them horizontally too. There are guides...- krlss26

Calculating the force air has on an object
I am trying to calculate the force that compressed air has on a cylinder. These cylinders are pushed in a production line for transportation using air. I would like to calculate the force such air puts on the cylinder. I have the velocity of the air, the área of the cylinder. Will using the...- krlss26
