Gas Phase Ion Chemistry vs. Plasma Chemistry
I've read that "Plasmas are gas phase systems". So are "Gas Phase Ion Chemistry" and "Plasma Chemistry" different names for the same field? Is this an appropriate field to study in order to learn about the dissociative ionization of hydrogen gas?- Kryptonite-19

Gas Phase Ion Chemistry vs. Plasma Chemistry
What is the difference between "Gas Phase Ion Chemistry" and "Plasma Chemistry"? If one wants to learn about the ionization and dissociation processes of hydrogen gas are either of theses fields appropriate to study?- Kryptonite-19

Microtron Accelerators resonant magnetic field
Homework Statement Somehow combining equations 5 and 7 yields the resonant magnetic field (eqn 8) and accelerating voltage V (eqn 8a). How is this derived? Homework Equations eqn5 2\,{\frac {\pi \,\Delta W}{eB{C}^{2}}}=b\tau eqn7 2\,{\frac {\pi \, \left( w_{{o}}+\Delta W \right)...- Kryptonite-19

Graduate Interpreting (n,n*3) and (n,3n) ENDF Charts
1. What is the meaning of (n,n*3) and (n,3n)? (n,n*3) is shown in ENDF charts for Inelastic levels and (n,3n) is shown for Threshold Reactions. For an example, see http://t2.lanl.gov/data/n7-pdf/sm/149.pdf 2. Also can you refer me to a book that explains how to interpret these types of...- Kryptonite-19
