How to Soften Aluminum 6061-T6 for Crimping and Forming?
I checked out your Web site. Looks like you might have capability to support thin film manufacturers in some capacity.- Linghunt

How to Soften Aluminum 6061-T6 for Crimping and Forming?
Let's talk, Standard microstructure for posting here should be fine. I would like to know more about your capability here and other areas... Possible referrals for you from myself and other engineers in my consulting network. We get involved in lots of many different types of jobs.- Linghunt

How to Soften Aluminum 6061-T6 for Crimping and Forming?
Custom Circular dies, Time is like 1-2 seconds. OD of ring change is around .015" Cutting off a ring for inspection, the soft ring forms around the diamond kurl pattern as expected. Picture worth a 1000 words, hopefully this will help...- Linghunt

How to Soften Aluminum 6061-T6 for Crimping and Forming?
Absolutely. Thanks in advance. Also the actual time for the material to go back to T4 as well and why it changes? From data testing, seemed like it was about 3 days before material was not able to move in forming without cracking. Forming operation changed shape by about .015"- Linghunt

Undergrad Does Football Inflation Follow Gas Law Principles?
There are 12 Game balls from each team. Each team uses there own balls when they have the football. There is also 8 Balls for Kicking game. Here is a link to the vague rules on the quality of the football. This came from a blog where there has been lots of chatter on this topic... -
How BJT transistor works (with conventional current notation perspective)
Here is a pop quiz answer key by Dr. Ruben Kelly. Note you can get all of your equations by Inspection. This works on more difficult circuits as well including feedback. Old material, but still works well. Dr. Kelly was pretty picky on us kids using our calculators properly. Rounding...- Linghunt

Help with a little controller project
Original Poster seems to have gone away. I hope he didn't Overheat next to computer. LOL. Anorlunda was great on Relay, Yep it's a Classic Amplifier so to speak. Great for Isolation as well. This all reminds of sticking 10 engineers in a room to solve a vague problem, We didn't get a...- Linghunt

How BJT transistor works (with conventional current notation perspective)
Joney gave a great run down on this. Remember this is about the BJT being in the Active mode. BJT can be in Cutoff or Saturated as well as other modes. As you move forward, make sure you use proper model for mode it is in.- Linghunt

Help with a little controller project
Windadct is correct, if you talked in Volts and Amps, be more standard for assistance. If one had the spec for the Peltier be easier to help. What you want to do sounds plausible. You say a feedback signal from some device/sensor is 10 watt , what is this? Need more than 10 watt information...- Linghunt

Quadratic Equations: Area of Quadrilateral Calculation
Understand, When you are figuring out a voltage and what is going on and scratching your head, perhaps you will remember. You need to be a Math Wiz to be a good software guy or Engineer. Can you count in base 16 as easy as you can in base 10. Subtract number on the fly and understand...- Linghunt

Quadratic Equations: Area of Quadrilateral Calculation
I interviewed a guy with EE degree from India years ago, he was looking to get E Tech job, Pulling wire and reading my schematics. I was going to give him thumbs up to get foot in door, then I learned he could do a voltage divider... I figured he was liar or really stupid. I learned...- Linghunt
