How Do Solenoid Polarities Affect Magnetic Field Patterns?
Homework Statement A current is passed through two solenoids placed in close proximity to each other as shown in the figure attached. Reproduce the figure showing the polarity of the two solenoids and the magnetic field pattern for the arrangement shown. Homework Equations There isn't...- lloydowen

I know the very basic principles of logs
Wow, that's actually a really good way to do it! I will try my best to remember all this for the test. I need to start practicing my re-arranging because my opinion is that if you remember the formula for the correct equation most of the rest will be re-arranging to make the subject of the...- lloydowen

Straight Line Graphs -Plotting, Gradient, Intercept & Finding Equation
Well it wasn't because of the type of paper I was using, but I use a graph on the computer and it came to 0.43. So then if 120=(0.43)(47) + b Correct me if I am wrong but b=120-20.21? So would 'b' be (sounded confusing lol) 99.- lloydowen

So if (0.4)(47)= 18.8 then would it be b=120-18.8- lloydowen

It was 118, so then do I need to re-arrange that formula then to get b the subject?- lloydowen

Straight Line Graphs -Plotting, Gradient, Intercept & Finding Equation
Alright, so I worked out that my M=0.4 So y=(0.4)(47) + (b) What is B? That website that b=(y)intercept That's a little confusing because I thought we were trying to find (y) ?- lloydowen
