Vital: How do you deal practically with school stress

hey, the advice on here is really good, i don't know if it'll apply to you or not, but when i get stressed, it's normally when i have a heap of work that I've left undone, prehaps it'll help you to get work done in plenty of time (and not put it off like i do) then, hopefully, not only less...

hi, i'm also looking at engineering (civil for me!) i wasn't sure at first which would be best, but it really is down to what you enjoy the most i'd say if you think you'd prefer EE, don't let the computer programming side put you off entirely, as its just one part of it, and in all courses...

Poisson's Ratio Coursework: Urgent Help Needed!

thank you for your reply, it was very helpful you said that there would be contraction in the two transverse dimensions, so to get a value for poisson ratio would i have to use both of these strains divided by the positive strain in direction of force? or is only one needed? thanks again...

Poisson's Ratio Coursework: Urgent Help Needed!

Poisson's Ratio coursework - Urgent help needed! hello, I'm currently working on a coursework for my A2 physics on Poisson's ratio i'm finding the ratio for aluminuim using aluminuim foil and strain gauges, adding masses to a clamp on the end of the foil (so foil is under tension) and...
