Philosopher King.
Served as a scout for 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in the United States Marine Corp. My occupation was infantry, I identify strongly as a warrior. My original major was math, but I opted for Political Philosophy for perhaps silly reasons. I would like to study math and computer science in the future. My favorite philosopher is probably Nietzsche because he has the most style and bravery. I believe his philosophy would have been improved if he didn't hold so much ressentiment towards Christianity and probably if he believed in God. I am also a big fan of Kierkegaard who I consider a fellow Northern Philosopher (The Philosophy of the circumpolar north).
I reside in Alaska. I am Gwich'in (a Northern Athabaskan) and presumably Danish on my fathers side. I am Yup'ik (Eskimo) on my mothers side and this is the culture I identify with most strongly. Much of my personal paradigm is Western American which I also show deference to. I was raised in Nome around the Inupiaq people who I consider closely related to Yupik people, we are all Inuit peoples.
Most of my writing has been on culture, and the nature of governance. This is where I found an appreciation for physics. I felt I needed to understand the governance of the universe better, and had plans to create a governance system based on the model the universe provides. One with simple rules that can give rise to a complex system of laws. I studied complex systems theory, and an overview of physics and quantum physics. At this point I became lost, the universe was nothing like I had imagined. I am still struggling with it. I walked into these studies as a hardcore atheist and am now a believer in God. I follow the Christian tradition (the one I was raised with as a child) but do not deny the other religions their truths as well. Strangely enough it was science that led me to this place.
Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believed.
