High School Calculate Circle Radius/Diameter from Surface Area
Thanks for the replay Shyan. a circel with a diameter of 1.29mm 0.6452π = 1.30 The formula you mentioned √s/π gives a value of 0.362.. ? Could you show me an example, I would be very thanks full- magmash

High School Calculate Circle Radius/Diameter from Surface Area
Hi How is circular surface area values square rooted ??. I am using this formula r2Xπ=mm2 to calculate the surface area of a circle but i want to know if there is a formula to get back to the diameter or the radius of the circle ?. example i have a circular surface area of 5.26mm2 and i want...- magmash

Undergrad Tungsten Wire Resistance Test | 12Vdc | Fluke Clamp Meter
I have had no problem with measuring DC currents, did the same experiment with a light bulb and got what i expected, higher resistance. Does the resistance get higher with the temperature on every conductor Copper, Aluminum, ect ?- magmash

Undergrad Tungsten Wire Resistance Test | 12Vdc | Fluke Clamp Meter
Hi guys I have been playing around with a piece of tungsten wire by supplying it with 12Vdc and measuring the current draw to see how much the resistance changes when the wire is glowing hot. while doing this i am not getting any change in the resistance, the wire has the same resistance when...- magmash

Static electricity and circuit breakers
Hi I have seen electric technicians while racking out high tension circuit breakers, use a wire that has one end grounded and they use the other end to touch the bus bars on the breaker in case of a static charger, they carry out this procedure before they do any work on the CB in case they...- magmash

Undergrad Rigid Body Bouncing: How Smooth Surfaces Deform
so speaking in simple terms, there is nothing purely rigid in this world every thing deforms during a collision, and that is what is responsible for the bouncing effect that we can observe, am i right ? P.S Is it possible to observe the deformation of an very rigid/solid object during a... -

High School Third Law of Motion and Magnetic Force: Is There a Connection?
Well what I mean is, example when we spray water at an object let's say a standing piece of plywood, the ply wood will fall down due the the force of the water particles hitting the plywood, Well how does the magnetic force work ? is there any atom, particle collisions causing the force ?- magmash
