News What is wrong with the US economy?

I believe people tend to overrated the BBC as a reliable source. It's turning more and more popular and concentrate less on facts. It tells the poors in the USA are poorer not because it is the case (and even if that is most likely true) but because BBC's readers want to read that.

News What is wrong with the US economy?

Prices still increased but not as much as than in the states. It's still quite expensive though.

News What is wrong with the US economy?

I don't know if this has been posted here but here are statistics released by various offices for the first quarter 2008. You can also see the annualised rate but it's probably going to change a lot: Q1 2008 growth rate: - Germany: +1.53% - Greece: +1.1% - Czech Republic: +0.9% - Austria...

News British prince on the front line- agreed media silence.

I guess some talibans could focus on him (which would expose them more because he is certainly well defended) but I guess talibans with brains would rather try to get his commander. PS: at least Cheney and Bush are deciders in that their loss could bring confusions in the states, at least for a...

News British prince on the front line- agreed media silence.

Don't give Harry more importance than he has. His death would be purely symbolic... what does he worth aside of being known for being known? Is he aware of some kind of military secret? Is playing polo considered politic? Is he some kind of supersoldier than makes him more efficient than...

Can objects in space appear to move backwards in time?

Let's assume we have two "somethings" in space, they get away from each others. The speed of one of them is around 150,000kms/sec, very fast but less than the speed of light, the other one goes the totaly opposite way at 200,000kms/sec. An observer on one of these would see the other element...

What are some common issues when building a PC for the first time?

Since the Pentium 4 CPU have their own power line. You need to connect it otherwise it won't work at all. Modern motherboards have even larger connectors (6 pins) for CPU. Yes they do, but they'll run at full speed unless you can connector potentiometers. It depends on your case. Yes...

How Could the Big Bang Avoid Being a Black Hole?

If the big bang had the physical structure of a Black Hole I don't see how it would be expanding today. Exepted if the time we know goes actually backward (our future trully being our past) but the causality law forbid this.

News U.S. saves France from itself (again, and again, and again)

I don't understand what's with this "disliking countries". Personnaly I consider Bush's moron, however I don't think I've been saying stuff like "Americans are like this or that" or "I dislike the USA" or whatever (yet many people, and not just in France, don't bother with their brain and openly...

Yorktown? Chesapeake Bay? ;) Just poking, however you guys give ourselves more credits than we deserve here. The fed is adjusting its rates because you're already well in troubles even without our participation to the mess :).

I'm sending you a pdf that you can use as posters, it is about internet protocols and their encapsulations. I hope you'll like them (now I go sleep). I have other cool stuff like these...

Newbie to this forum with a silly question

I just have one question though, when we say "dark energy is pushing stellar elements apart" we talk of that expanding balloon model with fixed dot?

Newbie to this forum with a silly question

It depends on what you call "dry" honestly. I can always try at least. Anyway, what I was implying wasn't exactly on multiverse. I'll try to devellop what I meant with a short story, "the story of some stuff". - We start at the big bang. From this thing that forms the big bang we see the...
