Choosing battery for guitar amp
thanks for replies. I see, I'll have to find an inverter from someone and do some tests :) turbo-1 I think you were saying "rectifier" in your post but meant "inverter"?- nareto

Choosing battery for guitar amp
hey, thanks that's a good idea. unfortunately cheap inverters I find around (searched for 2 mins though) like this one http://www.pc210.com/productshtml/2008-11-4/DY-8102_20081147680.html don't specify if they're for varying load and low noise... I should assume they are not, right...- nareto

Choosing battery for guitar amp
ok, done some research and I found out it's way more difficult than I thought. There's no circuit I could find to charge the 30 nimh or 9 lithium batteries I'd need to get close to the 35V, and anyhow they are not "easy" circuits (lithium batteries catching fire if you make the slightest mistake...- nareto

Choosing battery for guitar amp
Hello, I have a small (24 Watt) guitar amp which I'd like to retrofit with a battery for outdoor playing. I actually study mathematics and do electronics mostly as an hobby, so I may miss some fundamental things (i.e. bare with me). Basically, I have two little problems which I'd like help...- nareto

Prove Orthogonality Condition For Sines (Integral)
aargghh why haven't you posted the solution EDIT: nevermind, I found it here: http://www.mathreference.com/la-xf-four,orth.html and I'm copying it below for reference: Consider two functions f = sin(mx) and g = sin(nx). Here m and n are distinct positive integers. What is the integral of...- nareto

BJT with non constant beta-value burned out?
thanks for pointing that out! yeah I think I got it Oh, ok. I thought it was large because on the book there was a sample table and beta value for them was allways 100, only one or two times 98; so I expected that kind of variancy (though they warned that they had used high precision...- nareto

BJT with non constant beta-value burned out?
Hello, I have taken some measurments following a proposed experiment in a begginners electronics book to calculate the beta-value of an NPN BJT transistor. The circuit was as follows: ____________ | | | | | | + R_B R_C 9V | C_| - B |...- nareto
