Anyone considering a career as a patent attorney?
Thought I'd follow up here: I took the job and have been working it for a little over a month. So far, I love it! The tech is interesting, the work is stimulating, and I get back to my logic roots. I will miss the math, but this is logic and math is logic so I can fool myself into thinking it'll...- Nascent2e3

Anyone considering a career as a patent attorney?
Thank you! The information on billing makes the terminology and descriptions I heard from other employees much more clear. Just to be sure I understand it properly, if I end up getting an offer and it's the salary+bonus model (which it will be from what I understand), I'll need to know the...- Nascent2e3

My question is more on the pay structure, and what's...- Nascent2e3

Programs Grad Program for Space Employment
Sorry; didn't include any location information. I'm in Colorado Springs, CO, USA. It sounds like you're saying even with the most employable PhD in space systems (an engineering degree and not a physics degree) that I would still be hard pressed to find a job. Are jobs working with space systems...- Nascent2e3

Programs Grad Program for Space Employment
First off, forgive me if this question has been posted and answered prior. I'm a non-traditional physics student and should complete my BS degree in December of this year; I have a previous BA in English, for whatever that's worth (the market says it's not worth much). I'm looking to attend...- Nascent2e3
