Undergrad Calculating Magnetic Levitation Strength for a 1kg Object
Update: I tried wrapping 10 meters of 0.8mm copper coil around an iron core(Around 5cm in diameter). No power at all. i only manage to attact 1-2 paperclips. Then i found this article: http://uzzors2k.4hv.org/index.php?page=magneticlevitation. He used around 70 meters of 0.45mm copper coil. So...- navivanuva
