How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

Yes Sir NascentOxygen. It is still in process. Gathering additional information to improve its design by means of my current understanding. In fact, this self-assessment project is still on scratch. I still haven't bought yet the needed materials. I would like to thank all of you who helped me...

    Frequency Question -- 24 VAC, 60 Hz versus 24 VAC, 20 Hz

I am afraid that I misunderstood your comment. But regardless of that, I think this quote answered the difference of the above circuits (which have different frequencies) : Thank You for Your Answer and Concern

Question about electricity towers and poles

You really get what I am asking and you answered it amazingly! Thank You for elaborating it to me! As well as other kind users that help and try to explain it to me. Thank you very much all of you Sir/Maam As far as I know. the poles are used in distribution and towers.pylons are used for...

    Frequency Question -- 24 VAC, 60 Hz versus 24 VAC, 20 Hz

So in this example, you are favoring for source with 60 Hz rather than the source with 20 Hz?

Question about electricity towers and poles

What I am trying to say here is, does majority/all of pylons are dedicated for transmission purposes only? I believed that poles served as way of distributing voltages ( in other words I believed that poles are used in distribution system). I am asking about "How do I know if a POLE carries...

Question about electricity towers and poles

No it was not a homework. I am currently student of engineering course and all of those questions came from myself and there as part of my curiosity

Question about electricity towers and poles

I have several questions about poles and towers. a. Does all of transmission towers carries three-phase powers? Is there no transmission towers designated for single-phase? b. Does all towers are for transmission purposes only? Is there any towers in the world used for distribution instead of...

How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

It is not very rapid (compared to room light is switched on). Why did you ask Sir? does it have a major role in the circuit? The minimum Beta of BC547 is 110. I think it should be designed in minimum because the range between maximum and minimum Beta is large (about 800). Why would it be...

How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

How about this: .Does the circuit above won't work? The calculated voltages and currents satisfy the condition of transistors and relay. Please explain why it won't work reliably.

How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

yah Yahoo! Thank You Sir Svein! You clear all the doubts in my regarding this circuit (at this moment of time). The only thing to do is buy an BC547 transistors so I could make it in reality. The theoretical part was done because of you! I just need to make the circuit so I can figure out if...

How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

Honestly, I really don't get the point. as the circuit above is concerned, the LDR is not connected to any negative voltage. The voltage on LDR is because of being in voltage divider configuration. Those in red is what "negative currents" I am talking about.

How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

So the 0.79 V in the exposed to light situation is not enough to turn on the transistor? How about the negative values of currents? what is the explanation behind them?

How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

If I willl going to use the 4.7 M ohm for the circuit, it runs very well if the LDR is exposed to darkness as it shows: The only problem here is the voltage in that point is 5.8 V, which is very close to the 6 V maximum rating as it shows here: The other problem in using 4.7 M ohm is when...

How to Activate Relay using Transistor?

If I am going to use 27 K ohm resistor, this will be the circuit : The data sheet I posted earlier said that the voltage at the point will not to exceed 6 V. In the circuit above, it shows that the voltage at the point was 23.58 V. The Beta (Current Gain) of BC547 is 110 (minimum) so the...
