Hi, I'm "Paige."

I'm the valedictorian of a large state university computer science department. Masters in Computer and Network Security and Digital Forensics. Saying which school identifies me and I've been stalked because of my job.

Despite a masters in comsec, I'm not going to work in it; I'm just fascinated by it. Computer security grad school is mainly learning how to break into networks, crack passwords with CUDA, and hack every conceivable device.

Learning digital forensics means dissecting clever viruses and finding porn hidden in NTFS data structures. One assignment was to find porn on our own hard drives using porn-finding s/w only sold to LE. We used a lot of scary forensic s/w only sold to LE. FASCINATING!

Hobby is astrophysics/SR, particularly Reimannan spacetime, and specifically, what it implies about the large-scale connectivity of the universe. I'm shockingly ignorant about topology, so I'm trying to learn that too. I'm sure the universe is not simply-connected.

*Autistic sounds okay, but it means emotionally retarded. I figure my emotional age is about 14 or 15. I cant help it, so dont talk to me if you're easily offended because I can't tell.

*If I don't reply for 2 or 3 days, it doesn't mean I surrendered the thread! I just have to be offline for a few days sometimes.

* If past is indeed prologue, I'll be thrown out of here and I won't know why, other than that it's because I'm emotionally retarded. But until then--and it's inevitable--I look forward to learning from you.
