Torque and motor power for 1000 kg winch at 35 m/min wire speed
What is the torque on a shaft when applying a load of 1000 kgs. through winch lifting at a speed of 35 meters per minute wire speed. What should be the H.P of an electric motor if it runs the winch. The motor rpm is 980. Gear box speed ratio is 70:1.- Parthasarathy
