What is the Maximum Torque Needed for Failure of a Serrated Plate with 48 Teeth?
If I had 2 serrated plates like the ones in the attached picture locked in place like seen below. How would I go about calculating the maximum amount of torque needed for failure of the part. Assuming it has 48 teeth and is made from stainless steel?- philipmogbock
