Thanks for the clarification. Relativistic mass is the proper term I was looking for, but I used "apparent mass" instead, which is really not proper. Any simple way to show how the shape of the gravitational field of a moving object differs from a stationary one?

Depends on the distance between the reflecting surface and the wall, the shape of the reflection will be circular (it's an image of the sun) after some distance, no matter what the shape of the mirror is.
