Undergrad Speed of light and time dilation
What you seam to be referring to is simply a matter of perception. In order to see something moving we compare it against something else. Let's imagine for example that your spaceship is stationary in space, and that the Earth and everything else in the universe would be the one accelerating...- R32GTR

Graduate CERN team claims measurement of neutrino speed >c
Hum, sorry to bring back this post. I was just wondering, has there been any thought given about our whole universe actually moving. I know it hard to imagine, since obviously we would have nothing to compare this displacement with, but I can't really see why it couldn't be possible. Could...- R32GTR

Graduate Could time as a dimension have property that would behave like energy ?
Thanks for the heads up, still have to read it before I decide what I think about it. I guess this post can be closed, the post name is kind of misleading, and I figured out what I was doing wrong. Unfortunately it just made things a lot more complex than I had anticipated Thanks- R32GTR

Graduate Could time as a dimension have property that would behave like energy ?
Well, I guess I wasn't searching for the right thing before, because a quick search today introduced me to EST theory. I'm sure it's going to be nice read. I'd still be interested in hearing your though on the subject.- R32GTR

Graduate Could time as a dimension have property that would behave like energy ?
Sorry, I might have over simplified 3 am and was getting sleepy. What I was getting at is, if the speed of light look like a constant from all time frame, could it be because the same problem I pointed in calculating the speed of light can be applied to how we calculate acceleration. Which...- R32GTR

Graduate Could time as a dimension have property that would behave like energy ?
Thanks for the quick reply, your answer is quite similar to most answer I have seen. My problem is when it comes time to try to calculate a way to find potential differential between the 2 identical objects (the one at rest and the one close to the speed of light). Let see is you can see...- R32GTR

Graduate Could time as a dimension have property that would behave like energy ?
Hi, this is my first post, and I'm not an expert of any kind or do not believe I am. I have always been fascinated by science, but I some time ask myself some questions, here's one I don't seam to find much info. I found a lot of treads that mentioned the subject but nothing that actually...- R32GTR
