Pressure drop in pipes and Velocity
For pipes head loss causes pressure drop. If there is lower pressure at the end of the pipe, is the velocity lower? What I'm trying to figure out is if the average velocity in the pipe is constant. And how does it change if you place an object inside the pipe? Does velocity only change with a...- RagingSezz

Calculating Vibration in Water Flowing Pipes for Noise Comparison
There will be turbulent flow of water within the pipe. And I'm interested in the noise generated by the vibrations. To be specific I want to compare the oscillation frequency of two pipes with different inner diameters. So I don't need to find the actual amount of noise, but some way to compare...- RagingSezz

Calculating Vibration in Water Flowing Pipes for Noise Comparison
Hi, Does anyone know how to calculate the vibration in a pipe with water flowing through it? I have no idea where to start or what formula to use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.- RagingSezz
