Why do some people say that Newton's Second law is the real Law of Motion?
so which is more fundamental? Newton's third law of Motion or The law of conservation of linear momentum? Both can't be...- Rakinniya

Why do some people say that Newton's Second law is the real Law of Motion?
Dickfore ... I don't really understand the mistake you are pointing out... and about what you said "Then, the vehicle starts accelerating. You notice the ball starts to roll. If it starts to move, its velocity surely changes, therefore it acquires some acceleration." Here you are talking...- Rakinniya

Why do some people say that Newton's Second law is the real Law of Motion?
Thank you...It's not there in my textbook...our teacher taught it ...but I found it in a guide as well...and its de on some sites also...ofcourse it doesn't make any sense ...but what about the First Law?...Is it or not just a special case of the second...?- Rakinniya

Why do some people say that Newton's Second law is the real Law of Motion?
People say that Newton's Second law is the real Law of Motion because both the First and the third law can be proved from the second. If this is true why did Newton state them as separate laws if they are just special cases of the 2nd law? My teacher taught us this. These are the proofs she...- Rakinniya

What is the significance of gravitational units in understanding momentum?
tnx that was quite helpful... but em not sure if she meant the same thing... ..I can't find nything in my textbook .today...she asked us. "what is the gravitational unit of momentum?"...there's an article on ...Gravitational metric system in wikipedia... Looks like its an outdated one...anyway...- Rakinniya

What is the significance of gravitational units in understanding momentum?
What are gravitational units?? My teacher recently taught us about gravitational units... she said that its the absolute unit multiplied by acceleration due to gravity... I did not understand the significance of this...Please help me- Rakinniya
