Thanks... can you explain why the cosmological principle doesn't allow for a center of the universe?

Assuming we are not at the center of the universe: If V is the vector from the center of the universe to us, then -V would be the vector from the center of the universe in the direction away from us. Wouldn't a star (or whatever) on the -V vector be accelerating away from us at a larger rate...
