Graduate Cosmic Microwave Background Origin
So do I, a static universe with redshift caused by something other than expansion. -

Graduate Cosmic Microwave Background Origin
How would it be as bright as the surface of a star if the light redshifts out of the visible spectrum? -

Graduate Dark Matter/Energy: Adjusting Science to Fit Math?
I'm glad to hear that the cosmology community is still considering alternatives. -

Graduate Dark Matter/Energy: Adjusting Science to Fit Math?
We aren't exactly talking about 1+1 here. We are talking about "theoretical" equations that work sometimes but not others. If the equations worked as well as "+" then I would agree with you. -

What temperature would you expect? -

Graduate Cosmic Microwave Background Origin
If you start stacking multiple layers of random features, what do you get? I bet it starts to look pretty uniform at some point. If we pick one point in space at our best resolution, in an infinite (or vastly larger than currently projected) universe, that point could still have trillions of... -

Graduate Cosmic Microwave Background Origin
If the universe is infinitely large and the microwave background is actually light from extremely distant galaxies then wouldn't we expect it to be pretty uniform? -

Graduate Cosmic Microwave Background Origin
If the light from a distant galaxy was red shifted far enough wouldn't it appear as microwave? Is it possible that the CMB is just more galaxies beyond what we consider to be the "observeable universe?" -

Graduate Why do we Need a Unified Theory?
I think we will find a very elegant and very simple answer once people accept that some of the things we are taught are not true. They are just theories after all but it seems that we accept them as laws. This is preventing us from finding the true answers. We will have to question all things... -

Graduate Dark Matter/Energy: Adjusting Science to Fit Math?
If you throw out dark energy and dark matter, what other theories out there suffer. -

Graduate Could anything else cause redshift?
Since it is possible to redshift light with gravity, why do we think the universe is expanding just because we see redshift in distant galaxies. Couldn't the redshift be caused by all the gravity between us and the distant galaxy? Is there other evidence that the universe is expanding? -

Graduate Dark Matter/Energy: Adjusting Science to Fit Math?
In regards to dark energy or dark matter... Why does the science community create new science to fit the math rather than fix the math to fit the science? Are we so confident in the math that we have to adjust the science to match? Why are we so confident in the math? If galaxies rotate...
