How Do You Solve Exponential Equations with Multiple Variables?
I actually did try dividing them but then didn't know what to do from there. Thanks, this was of much help- rygza

How Do You Solve Exponential Equations with Multiple Variables?
I thought it was obvious that it does hold for all M,L, & T. If there were fixed values for them I would have included that information haha. You addressed the question but I stated that it wasn't straight forward. I already know what to do if there were fixed values (that's why I asked about...- rygza

How Do You Solve Exponential Equations with Multiple Variables?
You obviously understood what i meant. yes i know i didn't express everything in standard form and i did make a mistake with the first equation (now fixed). I didn't see the need, as equating the exponents would make it clear what i meant (which it seems it did to you). Regarding my actual...- rygza

How Do You Solve Exponential Equations with Multiple Variables?
so i need to find a,b, and c: (M^0)*(L^0)*(T^1) = (M^a+b+c)*(L^-a-3b+2c)*(T^-2a-2c) to solve i equated the exponents to that of each matching variable: a+b+c = 0 -a-3b+2c = 0 -2a-2c = 1 Is there a mathematical process of obtaining the above equations besides simply "equating" the...- rygza

Quick little question about energy conservation
When do i know which component of velocity to use when an object is shot at an angle? For example: a ball of given mass is shot 32degrees above the ground with Vinitial of 74m/s. In using conservation of energy, K.E. = .5 mv^2 , which velocity component do i use?- rygza

High School Is Normal Force Relevant in Frictionless Scenarios?
My instructor told the class to keep in mind that we should only account for normal force when friction is involved in the problem. In my book there is a problem in which friction is negligible and they account for normal force, but ultimately the normal force has no effect on the conclusion of... -

Book error, or am i missing something? TRIG piece
In the attached picture there is a right triangle (the right angle is on the right bottom corner). The angle, theta, is on the left-most side. From what i remember, sin (theta) is equal to opposite/hypotenuse. If you can see in the picture, it has written: delta x = h/sin(theta) so...- rygza

Limit as x approaches infinity, involves sinx and cosx
y=1/2(sinx-cosx+e(^pi-x)) question: if x approaches infinity, which term or terms will dominate? from my understanding, sinx and cosx will oscillate and the e term will approach zero. so would the answer be sinx-cosx? please and ty- rygza

Finding the constants in a general solution
sooo sorry. I've been reading the problem over and over (it's actually a mass on spring problem). It uses the term "from rest", meaning initial velocity is 0. Now when i solve for the constants i get 0 = 16C1 and C1 = 0 Wow, an hour wasted because i missed that part- rygza
