Volume of Cylindrical Shells: y = 4x - x^2, y = 3; about x = 1
oh... now i noticed my problem. 4x - x^2 = 3 0 = x^2 - 4x + 3 0 = (x-3)(x-1) x = 1 and 3 Tiredness really made my brain crazy.- sarah2529

Graduate Understanding Quaternion Multiplication for 3D FPS Camera: A Simplified Approach
OMG. I'm jumping so far. Do I really need to take "Introduction to analysis->...->Differential geometry" for me to understand Abstract algebra very much? Well I hope I can do that by myself because my curriculum only has until Multivariable calculus (I'm studying Multivariable calculus some...- sarah2529

Graduate Understanding Quaternion Multiplication for 3D FPS Camera: A Simplified Approach
I guess so. Nope. What's that? Yes, I'm taking Calculus 2 class right now. So little. But I know how to use row reduced in matrices. Thanks to the opencourseware. Basing on what you've asked, I really did jump so fast. So what would you recommend to me? I really want to understand those...- sarah2529

Graduate Understanding Quaternion Multiplication for 3D FPS Camera: A Simplified Approach
Read it many times but I still didn't understand some of the things you've said. I just don't get it how it is made. Anyway, do you know what's the pre-requisite for quaternion topics? Is it Linear Algebra? Because I don't understand most of the topics in the book Quaternions and Rotation...- sarah2529

Graduate Understanding Quaternion Multiplication for 3D FPS Camera: A Simplified Approach
I'm trying to look how the formula made on this http://www.gamedev.net/reference/programming/features/quatcam/page2.asp" . I want to know how this formula was derived. I tried to look on Quaternions and Rotation Sequences book but they use sin/cos which is so different on this. N.w = a.w*b.w...- sarah2529

Improving Math Study Habits: Tips for Acing Calculus 2
I'm currently taking Calculus 2 class and really enjoyed it. I changed my study habits in math because I want to get an A+ on it. I practice indefinite and definite integrations problems everyday for my first exam. I answered most of the questions on my book and some problems I found on the...- sarah2529

Inventing something with just a piece of paper?
I've watched a documentary about jet engine. Is it really possible to just create something with just a piece of paper? Just using all the laws of physics then use it to construct something perfectly.- sarah2529

KNO3 Permit Needed for Rocket Building Checklist
Now I understand. Thanks Borek. Anyone here knows where can I buy zinc and sulfur? Is there any products for that like the KNO3 in stump remover, sodium chloride in weed killer and etc. -

KNO3 Permit Needed for Rocket Building Checklist
Ok I guess I'll just use Zinc and Sulfur for my rocket. KNO3 is banned on my country and I don't want to be jailed for that. I wish I can buy these two components on a store somewhere here. By the way, what do you mean "relatively low specific impulse". Does the mixture of these component... -

KNO3 Permit Needed for Rocket Building Checklist
No one sell rocket motor on our country though fireworks is legal on my country. I'll try looking for a stump remover in ACE Hardware. But I'm pretty sure they don't have it but I'll try it.
