I was born into a house that believes in fixing what's broken and not replacing it so quickly. Doing stuff with your hands is the most fulfilling thing in the world, in my opinion.
My dad is a talented and pretty crazy electro-mechanics guy. I've been working with him since, well, forever, until I opened my own business in 2010. I design and build mechanisms of all sorts, with a nice history in industrial machine design and manufacturing, and robotic applications as well. I have a fully loaded workshop and I do a lot myself. I'm also a motorcycle riding instructor for the past 13 years.

I don't, however, have a degree of any kind. I barely finished high school, just like my dad (coincidence...?), which means I lack basic knowledge in whatever it is they teach in the university...

My expertise is thinking far ahead when designing. Thinking about serviceability, thinking about cost of manufacturing, about ease of assembly.

Most of the knowledge I have is from experience. But sometimes I need the help of those of you that took the time to study...

This seems like a good place to be part of (:
