Graduate Showing Beta Decay (Feynman diagrams?)
Would someone please tell me how I would show Strontium-90 decay into Yttrium 90(and emitting Beta particles)? Would I need to use a Feynman diagram? Thank you!- ShrodingersCat

Undergrad Electromagnetism and Beta Decay
Hello! I am participating in a STEM fair(I am a middle schooler), and my scientific question is : Does the angle of the particle trails increase from beta decay when you introduce an electromagnetic influence? I have been at a loss for finding a helpful site. The ones that I have come...- ShrodingersCat

Physics What Are the Career Prospects After Studying Physics in the UK?
Career Prospects as a Pysicist Hello! I am only going into 8th grade, so my knowledge of having a career as a physicist is very limited. From what I do know, is that most people who get a PhD in physics are not unemployed. I understand not wanting to teach, since you have PhD and all the...- ShrodingersCat

The best elementary book to study Particle physics
Book recommendation I enjoyed reading some of Michio Kaku's books, and I recently read The Particle at the End of the Universe, by Sean Carroll. I am currently reading The Fabric of the Cosmos, by Brian Greene. I am in 8th grade and could comprehend these books. Hope this helps.- ShrodingersCat
