How Can I Efficiently Build a Solar Phone Charger with Nimh and Lipo Batteries?
Hi, Yes it is Nimh AA batteries I am charging and my bad, I meant regulator. I have various solar cells ranging from 3v to 7.2v outputs so I've still to play around with them all. I also have 2 DC-DC regulator modules that say will take input from 2.5 - 5v and give a constant 5v 1amp usb...- Steve619

How Can I Efficiently Build a Solar Phone Charger with Nimh and Lipo Batteries?
Hello. I am building a solar phone charger and have decided to use 3 Nimh batteries, a 5/6 v solar panel, a usb 5V rectifier and also a Lipo credit card rechargeable cell. My reasoning is limited for this build as the more I read, the more conflicting info I find... (Eg, charging AA batteries...- Steve619

Understanding Absolute Error in Machine Measurements: The 1.3% Mystery Unveiled
In writing up on errors and knowing the error of the machine used (as told by the technician) as being 1.3% where I have a table of theoretical and measured values, The absolute error the difference between the theoretical and measured value, but where does the 1.3% error come into play? And...- Steve619

Clarifying Thyristor Rectification: Common Questions Answered
Hello, I am new here so forgive any noob-ness, I am doing a study on Thyristor rectification and have a few questions: A single-phase, half controlled bridge rectifier cannot be an inverter? -Unless it is connected to an inductive load, then it can? A single-phase, half controlled bridge...- Steve619
