What is the Initial Phase Angle and First Maximum Current in an AC Circuit?
Homework Statement i = 15 sin(100π.t + 0.6) a) I need to state the initial phase angel in rads and degrees. b) I also need to work out current at first maximum value.Homework Equations i=A*sin(ωτ+∅)The Attempt at a Solution a) ∅=100∏*0+0.6 ∅= 0.6 rads. ∴0.6*180/∏=34.37746771° b) first current...- steveandy2002

Speed distance and not a lot of hair left
Homework Statement a balls inital velocity is 72 km/ph and falls 100 meters with gravity @ 10 meters per second and i need to work out the time it takes to fall to ground. i was given s=ut+0.5*gt^2 Homework Equations s=ut+0.5gt^2 v^2=u^2+2as t=(v-u)/aThe Attempt at a Solution v2=u2+2as v=squr...- steveandy2002

Solving for x in an Exponential Equation
so based on useing logs would the folllowing be correct?? 3.4^(2x+3)=8.5 2x+3log3.4=log8.5 2x=3-log8.5/log3.4 x= 3-log8.5/log3.4/2 x=1.947942814?- steveandy2002

Solving for x in an Exponential Equation
I need to find x from (3.4)^2x+3=8.5 what i have done is as follows 3.4^2x = 11.56 3.4^2x+3 = 14.56 8.5 - 14.56 = x x=-6.06 <<<<is this the correct way of solving and correct answer??- steveandy2002
