Undergrad Discovering the Science: Understanding Cool Gases and their Temperature
I was wondering how can a gas be a gas but at the same time be cold? I thought gas molecules moved faster than liquid ones do, and yet some gasses are cooler than some liquids. I thought kinetic energy averages dictated temperature??- SteveManPhy076

Undergrad Could floating cities become a reality using rocket boosters?
Could there perhaps ever be floating cities? If we could get the type of technology that sends rockets into space, and have the boosters running at a constant and equal velocity inversely, could this cause anything to levitate?
