It never came into existence, because matter and energy cannot cease to exist. Unconscious matter produced conscious thoughts because reproducable biomolecules formed by accident, followed by billions of years of evolution.

Everyone should value life, therefore ethical realism is true.

Moral realism is established in the moment you can show that evverybody should value something. That people disagree is not an argument as long as the proof is valid. I came with this proof in the OP.

Seems like Mill is glued tighter to his own perspective than most of us. I find it a shame for humanity that this guy is regarded one of the all time greatest philosophers. I hope he did something better than that quote.

As a utilitarian, Mill should say that what is better is what gives more happiness and less suffering.

Was that Mill's argument? I'll still say "better to be a dead pig than an unhappy human".

It means that we don't have to, because morals are relative after all. It means that I don't have to help someone in jeopardy.
