Right; I wouldn't expect GR to provide a mechanism. That would be opening one can of worms with another. The answer as to "how," in the sense that you answered it, I am aware of. Graduate Can you see inside a space ship moving at the speed of light?
As I understand it, if you were moving at the speed of light you would not see anything at all because time would literally stop for you.- taicleis
