Converting 12VAC to 12VDC to Power PC Fans
Yes, if it is a 12vac regulated supply. But until I have it to test I won't be sure, and if I have a few volts under the fans will just run a little slower and quieter.- TechMiller

Converting 12VAC to 12VDC to Power PC Fans
I believe it is this one, though I do not have it in hand yet. This is a link to it. 12vac http://www.ebay.com/itm/270458210358?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_609wt_1396 I did however today run to radio shack after doing some more research and put together a full wave...- TechMiller

Converting 12VAC to 12VDC to Power PC Fans
Hey all, I am putting together a little LED project and have all of the LED figured out with 12vac drivers and all. What I am wanting to do is take a line from my 12vac and convert it to 12vdc to drive 2 small PC fans. (2x60mm) 2x 0.24w Anyone able to tell me the components I need to do this...- TechMiller

LED project power supplies in parallel?
So is something like this what you were talking about? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ELECTRONIC-TRANSFORMER-120VAC-12VAC-75W-MAX-/270458210358?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ef890c836#ht_609wt_1396" 20x3w led = 60w, should I go with 60w, 75w, or 150w Transformer? Paired with a...- TechMiller

LED project power supplies in parallel?
Ok, sorry I don't know much about this. Didn't realize it was quite so involved. If you have time would you mind a link to a transformer you have in mind? I just seem to be getting confused now. Thanks!- TechMiller

LED project power supplies in parallel?
So would something like this be the same or very wasteful as well? http://www.ebay.com/itm/10Pcs-AC-85-265V-1x3W-Power-Constant-Current-LED-Driver-/200634301847?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb6bc7d97#ht_2893wt_1163"- TechMiller

LED project power supplies in parallel?
Thank you for your help! As another option, could I put a 12v into 5v out Voltage Regulator behind each power supply and then run the LEDs in parallel with a 2.2ohm resistor? Am I understanding correctly that the regulator would give me a constant 5vdc even if the PS fluctuated? Thanks!- TechMiller
