(1) In the future, humans will never again live on naturally occurring worlds, anymore than humans at present revert to living in naturally occurring caves, like humans in the past. Instead, as humans today have graduated to superior-than-natural artificial structures, placed wherever they are wanted on world even far from natural caves, so humans tomorrow would dwell in superior-than-natural artificial structures, placed wherever they are wanted in space even far from natural worlds. Humans today thinking that humans tomorrow will live on planets, is like humans back in the ice age thinking that humans would always inhabit rock shelters. Houses are better and cheaper than caves, and space stations would be better and cheaper than trying to terraform worlds to establish cities.
(2) If there are actual intelligent aliens elsewhere in space, then they should be presumed hostile to life on earth. Words to the contrary are not intelligent, and any stupidity on earth is neither fit for command, nor relevant to the possible existence of non-stupid life, "in heaven", amongst the "stars".
