Build a Home Desalination Plant for Power

hm.. i would still question the energy efficiency of having a purifier of that sort in a house (you need to heat the process) but I've never done this project before so i don't have solid prove. would just advice you on looking at the ratio of energy used to power the process to energy...

Build a Home Desalination Plant for Power

Any industrial process that requires heat already uses a huge amount of energy. there are also factories and refineries that already implement ways to recycle energy leakage in the process of creating the heat, not in terms of the light it produces, but in terms of lost heat, in the form of...

Why does ice have no friction?

like rajini has said, ice melts as you slide against it. take into consideration the water formed as ice melts, it would decrease the friction between the ice and the object. there would still be friction between ice and an object or you would be able to slide indefinitly

Determining Magnet Strength: Formula & Factors Explained

hey guys, i was wondering if there was a formula to measure the strength of a magnet in relation to its size, and what else is needed to be known before such a value can be computed. e.g. its shape, let's say a bar magnet(you have my apology if i have posted in the wrong forum, but I'm...
