I like math, but I'm bad at it. What should I do?

Sorry, I probably didn't explain myself properly. I actually meant that ALMOST anyone can learn math to some extent, and you don´t have to be some sort of genius to learn Engineering level math if you work at your own pace and have enough motivation. At least that worked well for me. But, I...

I like math, but I'm bad at it. What should I do?

In my opinion every one is good at math, but the people who say they are bad, are either too lazy to try to understand it, or just needs a bit of practice. When I was in High School, I completely hated math, since I was terrible at it, but I loved physics and chemistry. Then I went to...

Programs Degree in Physics to PhD in Computer Science

Well... I have heard of many physicists getting jobs outside their major field, especially electronics or programming companies. I think that is very doable, since you have some experience in CS. Maybe you will have to take a couple of remedial courses.

Hmm... ok, I think that's what I am going to do. Thanks that was very helpful!

Should I Pursue a Second Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering?

well, I already took thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and transport phenomena (mass transfer). Those are part of the ChemE program I could also try to take at least statics and a bit of materials science for electives

Should I Pursue a Second Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering?

If I really have to add extra semesters to graduate from grad school due to the remedial courses, then probably is just as good to stay one or two extra years in college, so i finish with 2 bachelors instead of 1, and then go to directly to grad school without remedial courses. This should also...

Should I Pursue a Second Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering?

I am less than 1 year away from graduating... I was thinking in finishing and then study ME, but I don't know if I should study that in Grad school or as a 2nd under grad. My question is... How difficult is for a chemical engineer go to ME grad school? and if so... Would someone with a...

Should I Pursue a Second Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering?

Hi, I am currently studying Chemical engineering, and I recently realized that in the country I live, the job opportunities for ChemE are very limited compared to other Engineering disciplines. Since I like Mechanical engineering as much as ChemE, that could be an option. The problem is that i...

    Chemical Engineering Specializations

I am planning on doing a Masters degree, and my current options are: Process Systems Engineering, Advanced Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotech, Biotech/Bioprocess Engineering, Catalysis, Chemistry or Nuclear Engineering (Very unlikely). So I am wondering... If I am not yet sure...
