Hi thanks for your response. I think my mistake was not ignoring R4, what is the reason for that? Does the current not get divided between branch R3 and R4? I took the 8 Amps and worked out the current division through R3 (R3/R3+R4*IS(8A)) This is where I got the 4.4...A from. thanks for...- Tim86

Sorry to revive old thread. So it would be; [L] -a-3b+c = 1 [T] -2a-2c = -1 [M] a+b=0 Then you solve equation? For some reason this doesn't work out for me.- Tim86
