What if you applied a lubricant to a surface? Would that lubricant reduce the aerodynamic drag of the surface? I would think it would be similar to the effect achieved with a lubricant for a solid on another solid.

Hi, I've got a random question. To my knowledge a liquid crystal filter bends incoming light coming in from various angles towards one particular angle as light leaves the filter. Does anybody know the % loss of light caused by this action?
