Programs I can't decide between AI and Physics....
Well, they just seem so specific and practical... Like calculate and predict this... Maybe I would end up liking it idk... I still find physics very interesting, what should I do about it?- Tri

Physics Can someone help me tell whether Physics is right for me?
I'm not sure because I'm also very good at logic and cs and might have a happier life in AI research... I'm so lost at what to do- Tri

Physics Can someone help me tell whether Physics is right for me?
That's what I am trying to decide either I would do Math with a focus on CS and philosophy or physics and philosophy... I can picture myself doing research in AI and since I am pretty good at abstractions and the type of thinking required in pure math and cs... I just can't help but want to...- Tri

Programs I can't decide between AI and Physics....
I've been interested in these 2 subjects for some time now. I'm 18 atm and since I was 13 I've been extremely fascinated by artificial intelligence and theoretical physics. I've only acted on my interest in AI though since I became president of my robotics team and was heavily focused on...- Tri

Physics Can someone help me tell whether Physics is right for me?
I think I enjoy the philosophy of it more than the actual work... Even theoretical physicist make a lot of specific calculations and I just find that boring like predicting the orbit of a planet or whatever the problem might be. I enjoy a more 'architectural' approach designing frameworks and...- Tri

Physics Can someone help me tell whether Physics is right for me?
I don't necessarily see myself doing work in physics since it requires dedication and a lot of perseverance and I don't think I love it that much to put up with all of that with the chance of failure. Something like AGI I could imagine myself doing that. BUT... I can't help but feel some sort of...- Tri

Physics Can someone help me tell whether Physics is right for me?
So I've been stuck on this problem for months. I enjoy 4 fields: Computer science, Physics, Math, and Philosophy... I mainly prefer theoretical topics and would like to stay away from industry/practical work. My main motive is for advancement and understanding..."Seekings truth". I love all...- Tri

Programs Need help deciding what to major in.... Want a career in AI
I wanted to study physics when I was younger... took physics in high school and didn't enjoy it at all... kinematics is boring. And now when I look at physics subjects it's not as interesting as it used to be... like optics and waves(yawn) only thing that truly interested is astrophysics which...- Tri

Programs Which Major Best Balances Passion, Practicality, and Potential for R&D?
Can I double major in Physics and CS and minor in Econ? Would that make sense? Also is CS as a major even challenging, many say it's easy.- Tri

Programs Which Major Best Balances Passion, Practicality, and Potential for R&D?
Which is the only major I wouldn't be able to learn as a hobby. For example, I'm guessing you can learn EE without actually going to school for 4 years same for CS, but I could be wrong.- Tri

Maybe this can help. Can you tell me the generalized personality a person taking each of the majors, maybe this will help me relate more since I enjoy all of them.- Tri
