Cost estimation of large size rack and pinion using a lead screw
could you use a multiplicity of joined heavy jack units(there may be some product)? -perhaps- Uncanny3

Cost estimation of large size rack and pinion using a lead screw
if I understand right this heavy industrial proposal(and the experience here of others is more relative I'm, sure), you may have to create linear bearings of some sort for the hydraulic lifter, I'm not sure what they are most forthrightly. -if this is the next part of the problem. it seems we...- Uncanny3

Backyard Tow Rope Troubleshooting: Motor Binding Issues
the slack pulley setup is sometimes called a 'dancer' -it can be setup on air or a spring ...if there's a lot of slack maybe you need another wheel, not a rod, similarly tensioned by a spring or air --but it can be done by a rod, if the tolerance is not too large- Uncanny3

Cost estimation of large size rack and pinion using a lead screw
-so gear the hydraulics down, lift it slowly ...very many pistons/cylinders can lift it with gear boxes and hydraulic pumps I've seen 1000 kg on one piston you will have to lift and lift that, wherever you're going with it wow!- Uncanny3

Sacrificial Anode on isolated copper alloy pipe
the process may be called 'electrolysis', which is driven by electrolytic exchange -meaning it eats the most readily available metal afaik, the electricity- Uncanny3

'Subducing head': pneumatic engine idea
it's meant to be energy in psi, which overcomes sliding friction by being vast, if needed the noise will be a click, if it surprisingly did anything -I agree, the steepness of the ratchet-like form can overcome movement perfectly thanks so much for your thoughts I find that interesting, that...- Uncanny3

'Subducing head': pneumatic engine idea
thanks! there is no exhaust, the inlet is a push fitting in the sealed outer plate(which isn't shown) the conjecture is that there is more area on one side of the feet, allowing a not infinitesimal pressure(either) to exist the backwards face of the feet is flat to the outer case, so they do...- Uncanny3

'Subducing head': pneumatic engine idea
Hi, I want to share my thought on what I have called a 'subducing head', it's a pneumatic engine. Here's the first drawing==> The concept is to apply more pressure on one side of a shape within an air compression chamber. So the red squares are areas of pressure, which don't occur on the other...- Uncanny3
