Graduate Granular convection (particle distribution) calculation
i have wasted my time here everyone in this forum is asking questions (trying to establish themselves as genius by asking questions) all these without even understanding the intent of the question SIMPLE QUESTIONS NEEDS SIMPLE ANSWERS! NOT A COMPLEX ANSWER! ADIOS TO THIS FORUM AND ALL THE...- Viky1147

Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
My question is this I need to Scale down a human model (height & weight) for a study. I couldn't experiment it on a 1:1 model, due to cost. So, I need a human model of 9cm height. What data is missing here in your proposed calculation? -
Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
I see you fail to understand and provide me lots of replies. My question is this I need to Scale down a human model (height & weight) for a study. I couldn't experiment it on a 1:1 model, due to cost. So, I need a human model of 9cm height. Now don't say data is insufficient. This is what... -
Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
How do you propose to scale down human model to 1:20 ratio. Did you see my replies in this same thread? Weight doesn't work that way. If its simple problem for you please let me know the solution let's see. -
Graduate Granular convection (particle distribution) calculation
As quoted earlier, am not exposed to this field. This is a new theory i need to "understand" for my study, which plays a small pivotal role. If i would know all the things you have said i would have solved by myself. My question is this As a mechanical engineer, i can say from the above pic...- Viky1147

Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
Agreed, density varies in different parts of the human body -
Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
1:8000 of the original weight 80Kg is the weight 1:8000 of 80 KG is 0.01KG (10 grams) Something doesn't fit right Thanks, Viky -
Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
I was answering it for the scaling down the weight based on the ratio of 1:20 Height @ ratio 1:20 goes like 180cm = 9cm Weight @ ratio 1:20 goes like 80Kg = 4Kg Thanks, Viky -
Graduate Granular convection (particle distribution) calculation
I think the intent of this discussion got misdirected. I didnt intent this as a complex problem. In granular convection "large particles with low density" seems to push it way up, while high density small particles & high density high particles get buried. Please correct me if am wrong (this...- Viky1147

Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
Hi all, bit of a busy day and just now opened my laptop i read all the above replies the average density of a human is said to be 1kg/m3, scaling it down for a 9cm human model it gives 4kg. i am amused to imagine a 9cm human model with 4KG! then as per the reply above i came to conclusion... -
Calculate scaled down human model weight for practical experiment
Hello, I need to scale down a human model by 1:20 i.e, i need a human model of 9 cm height scaled down. Help me calculate the weight of the 9 cm scaled down human model. Regards, Viky -

Graduate Granular convection (particle distribution) calculation
Yes that's the context itself. These 4 category covers every particles. But, Under granular convection, where does this 4 particles will be located? (assuming any volume or density in this 4 categories) How will we prove that in theory? (considering this parameters alone)- Viky1147

Graduate Granular convection (particle distribution) calculation
Types of particles: 1) Low volume, Low density particle 2) High volume, Low density particle 3) Low volume, High density particle 4) High volume, High density particle These 4 particles, under no/large boundary condition, i need to know where will be the particles located in say after 1 minute...- Viky1147

Graduate Granular convection (particle distribution) calculation
This seems to be far more advance and too complex to understand. Is there any simple and yet proven way so that my case study can be proven. 4 types of particles under turbulent motion, I need to map, where this 4 particles will stand in a map/sketch/some illustration. But, to be proved...- Viky1147
