I tried to set the total amount of heat extracted from the mixture (-116.9 + (-47.5) = -164.4 kJ) equal to mcΔt of the ice cream mixture and solve for the final temperature, but my answer was wrong. I calculated part a of the question and I found the correct solution, which was 4.4m/s N35degE, but I don't understand how to find Tessa's velocity relative to the ground in part b using her velocity relative to the water which I found in part a.- waltssillyhat
