I have just finished my first year of undergraduate education, and am currently trying to decide if I should major in physics (honours) or mechanical engineering (honours). (From everything I've read on this forum, I know I'm not the first person ever in the world to face this dilemma.)...

I see... thanks for the responses guys! MATLABdude, did your grad student friend take those courses at the same time and place as his graduate school courses? Were they courses that he had to take in order to obtain his masters engineering degree anyway? Or did he he have to get himself into...
